Ahmedabad Zone of the Indian Railways announced recently its recruitment of 1200 candidates, covering a vast range of posts from Station Master to Technician and from Goods Guard to Clerk posts.
The recruitment process for the 1200 posts by the Ahmedabad Zone, which includes four divisions, namely, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar, was launched recently on the website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
In order to be eligible for the posts, a candidate must possess the required qualifications for each of the post, in addition to being between the age of 18 and 33 years, as specified in the official recruitment notification.
Candidates successfully selected will be offered a compensation package in line with the rules and regulation defined by the government. The selected individuals will also be entitled to various allowances and benefits as specified in the rule book.
The selection process of the Ahmedabad Zone recruitment comprises written test, document verification, physical fitness test and personal interview round. The written test will be conducted at the pre-defined centres as planned by the board.
